Nurturing Program
What is the Nurturing Program?
The Nurturing Program is a 10-week series for the whole family to gain:
- Better communication between members
- Improved behavior with children
- More fun together as a family
- Self-confidence for parents
- Love, trust and respect
The mission of the Nurturing Program is to strengthen families' positive communications, interactions and functioning through education, role modeling and group process.
Philosophy of the Nurturing Program
Children don't come with instructions. Parents don't receive a detailed job description. All parents can use help in the complicated task of raising children well. Being a good parent becomes easier using the skills taught in this program. Children learn new family skills when presented in a fun, active way.
Classes
The traditional class is for parents with any age children. The 0-6 class is for expecting parents or parents of infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
