Programs

All of our classrooms follow age specific routines that encourage the children's independence and create a sense of security. We offer three well-balanced meals each day which are prepared onsite and meet USDA requirements. Meals are served family-style in a child-friendly dining room which helps children gain independence and self-esteem. Our programs provide a full day of active learning and play. Routines also include outdoor play where children can explore nature and develop strong, healthy bodies.

Infant Care

Provides care to ages 6 weeks to 12 months.
Our infant classroom has been specifically designed with your infant in mind. Our infant teachers take pride in offering a clean, safe, loving environment for your special son or daughter. They work with your infant at each developmental state to promote healthy development. The room provides separate areas for mealtime, rest, play and changing. We offer a meal program specific to each infant with most formulas included in the daily fee. Parents decide whether to participate in the meal program and to what degree. Weather permitting, we take our infants outside to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.

Toddler

Provides care to 13 to 36 months.
All of our toddler classrooms are full of bright colors, fun learning toys and plenty of things to do to keep your child busy throughout the day. Our toddlers are encouraged to explore and grow as we engage with them in conversations that build their imagination and understanding of the world around them. Our toddler teachers use the Creative Curriculum to expand our toddler's experience each day in social and cognitive ways. They also conduct regular observations of the children's development to individualize their learning experiences. We offer toilet training when your toddler is ready to take that next step. We have a special outdoor play area full of safe equipment and toys as well 2 four-seat buggies for walks in the neighborhood.

Preschool

Provides care to 36 months to kindergarten
We offer preschool education in three age specific classrooms (3yr, 4yr, 5yr) on a year round basis. Using the Creative Curriculum allows children to expand their skills in literacy, math, science and music through fun activities indoors and outdoors to help them get ready for kindergarten. We have a special play area designated with age-appropriate equipment and toys. We take children on fieldtrips throughout the community to learn about the world and just to have fun away from the center. Teachers conduct regular observations and use this information to guide each child in individual learning areas. Several of our teachers are currently pursuing or have obtained their Associates Degrees.

School-Age

Provides care to Kindergarten to Seventh Grade
During the school year we offer before and after school supervision that includes transportation to all schools located in Clearfield, breakfast and afternoon snack as well as supervised home-work time. We have a special outdoor area for school-age children so they can work off all that excess energy. An on-site afterschool program is available at the Clearfield Elementary School. This program is open until 6:00 p.m. on school days. Activities include gross motor play in the gym or outside, snack and supervised homework. A variety of games and craft supplies are available and the teachers facilitate and supervise to ensure safe, respectful play. We also offer full days when school is not in session, except for our closed holidays. This includes the summer months when we operate a Summer Day Camp. Children can be enrolled for the school year, summer only, or both. During Summer Day Camp, fun-filled activities include outings to the community pool, bowling, skating, picnics, and tours of local places of interest. Each summer our staff create clubs that focus on learning and fun in areas of children's interest. School-age teachers are available to assist with craft projects, learn rules to a game or just to ensure safe, respectful experiences. All aspects of our school-age programs are filled with child-focused activities. We want our children to have plenty of opportunity to choose activities that are interesting and of course, FUN!
