How Do I Volunteer?

A volunteer interested in mentoring youth has a few simple steps to complete. A pre-interview and pre-enrollment questionnaire form is completed and the volunteer is interviewed in-person by Big Brothers Big Sisters staff. A PA Child Abuse History Request Clearance, PA State Police Request for Criminal Record Check and motor vehicle record check are processed at OUR expense. Additionally, we will contact references supplied by you. It's that easy! Once matched with a child, we simply require that you get together at least 2 times a month; our staff conducts regular match support for the volunteer, the parent and child
